• Will we see Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Voters in Chicago will decide today. Kevin Bohn reports: "Now he enters Tuesday's voting as the clear front-runner and possibly within reach of avoiding a runoff. A candidate needs to win 50 percent of the vote to avoid an April runoff."
• Very little definitive information is coming out of Libya, but here's an update: "Residents in the Libyan capital of Tripoli reported a food shortage, gunfire and intimidation by security forces on Tuesday as the country's longtime ruler asserted his power and gave no indication of succumbing to week-long anti-government protests."
• An earthquake in New Zealand has claimed the lives of dozens: "One of New Zealand's largest cities lay in ruins Tuesday night after a powerful earthquake killed at least 65 people, toppled buildings and left scores trapped beneath chunks of concrete."
• In Wisconsin, protests continue and the state government is still not in session: "As the standoff continues in Madison over a budget bill that would increase the costs of benefits to public employees and curb their collective bargaining rights, Republican Gov. Scott Walker blamed unions for squandering state coffers and impeding fiscal reform."
• In NBA trade news, Carmelo Anthony is heading to one of the most storied franchises in all of sports – he was traded to the New York Knicks last night.
